Advanced Life Support Equipped


The Department operates a fleet of 17 vehicles, four Advanced Life Support  Heavy Duty Rescue Pumper/Engines, one 100' Ladder/Platform, four Advanced Life Support Transport Ambulances, one Grass Unit, one Utility Vehicle, one flat bottom boat, one Echo EMS response unit, one staff unit, one inspector vehicle and one chief/command unit.    Engines, Ambulances, Echo unit and the Chief Unit are equipped with on board Computers running computer aided dispatch (CAD) software which allows real time interaction with emergency run information from the dispatch center.  Information such as  mapping and site alert information is available.  These computers also have connection capabilities to the departments records management servers to interact with the departments Records Management Software in retrieving building site records for  pre-plan and other  building response information.
