Brownstown Fire Now Uses AppSheet

Brownstown Fire is now using AppSheet to build custom apps to be used on department Ipads and smart phones to conduct daily vehicle checks, mainteance requests, bunker gear inspections, and other tasks that use to require time consuming paperwork.  These new apps eliminate the piles of paper, streamline the process and allow for improved report information gathering.   See how it works at

Please Help Us

During heavy snow fall, please ensure that the fire hydrant in front of your home or business remains clear of snow accumulations

In August of 2016 our department was successful in receiving a FEMA grant for the amount of $209,887,   our department is required to contribute a 10% match.  With this grant we have been able to purchase 10 sets of new firefighter bunker gear, replace our 30 year old cascade fill station for our breathing bottles, replace 10 out of service SCBA breathing bottles for our air packs,  install new vehicle exhaust ventilation systems within two fire stations and upgrade an existing system in one of our stations.  We have purchased three new thermo imaging cameras that are used during search and rescue

New Firefighter/Medic Addition

We recently welcomed an additional firefighter/medic into Brownstown Fire Department.  Ethan Siedlik was hired in October of 2021.  Firefighter Siedlik comes to Brownstown with  years of education, training and experience.  Firefighter Siedlik worked for the Romulus Fire Department as well as FlatRock Fire Dept prior to joining Brownstown.  Firefighter Siedlik will surely be a great fit to our organization.
